Cosy restaurant. The service was very welcoming and friendly and the food was excellent, especially the Rinderroulade. I would definitely recommend it for a nice evening out!

Bad service. I've never seen anything so slow. Wouldn't go back here. I am extremely disappointed.

Mega good food, the service - according to the bill it was once Christoph and once Viktoria :-) - is always super friendly. We always like to stop by when we visit Jena.

The ambience was very calm and nice in the evening. However, our portions of roulades for the price of € 16.90 were quite small and our drinks orders were not properly considered. Otherwise we received neither salt nor pepper and the service never found out whether everything was okay with us. Accordingly, the restaurant makes a good impression but unfortunately no more.

Best service, stayed extra long for us and wrap like nuts

The food is at most average, but the inefficient service makes this lunch an absolutely negative experience. They'll never see us again!

We were very disappointed. The staff is friendly, but that's not enough for the condition. The premises urgently need a refresher, as a cleaning company. Well, the food leaves a lot to be desired. Our food was totally over-salted and went back. 😞

Cool location, centrally located, delicious food

Were extremely disappointed .... I had ordered what I knew because it was absolutely delicious. Pasta baked with vegetables and cheese. It came out pasta in tomato sauce gratinated with cheese ... I complained about it ... .then I got another one. But cucumbers and tomatoes belong in a salad and not in a gratinated pan. What did I find ... no taste. So every cook has salt and pepper in the kitchen. But that was the last. We were there as a group ... our friends' schnitzel was still half raw ... we were all very disappointed. Then the really polite waiter said ... it's a different cook. He completely missed his job. At least there was price discount.

Highly recommended are the wrap dumplings!

The restaurant is truly tastefully furnished. Not a cheap decoration, but it was a lot of color very good looking adapted to each other. The staff was fix, well-kept and friendly. It is always nice and we had a nice afternoon here. Cheap, varied selection of food and drinks. In fact, with my maid of honor, I was extremely pleased to finally have found a tavern near us, which we can afford without hesitation to date at the end of the month.

The food was average. But have to wait almost an hour. We were "due to the high volume" pointed out, however, it was Saturday evening and then a restaurant should also assume, that accordingly many guests are there. The two dishes were 15 minutes offset, so you could not even eat together. In addition, the service was friendly, but strange scary ...

Apart from the fact that everything was delicious and the service was good, the kids menu stands out. There is dumpling with sauce! Best kids eating ever. Stop Thuringia.

I found it a terrible restaurant in a prime location. The 2 months after Christmas Eve nor the Christmas decorations hanging could have opened my eyes. The shop was awful, the food looked and tasted like convenience. So it means fried deep-frozen shells, well chips, canned vegetables. I believe in every shared kitchen Jenas gets healthier and better cooked. This was a really bad service. The culmination was the espresso after which it was just like filter coffee in a small cup.

The service was very nice. But a beer of 0.5 liters from the order to the service at the table within 1 (in words: of a) minute is understood to be "all fresh" tapped, but not as it should. This is not a beer culture. The menu is good bourgeois, but a Thüringer Rostbrätel for 13,70 € is very exaggerated. On the same day, a veal schnitzel with fries was offered on the Jenaer Fuchsturm for under € 13.00. I will not be back as a guest so soon

At best, average. Fried potatoes almost burned and salted. Next time we wait until a table is set free in the neighboring potato house. The service, however, deserves a commendation: friendly and quick.

Nice service otherwise rather poor. The schnitzel was small and not exactly crispy. The fried potatoes were very greasy. The old Jena next door is much better
